01How do I convert a scanned or fillable PDF to a web form?
Upload any flat scanned PDF or interactive AcroForm (up to 25 MB and 100 pages) to ToWebForm. Every page is analyzed to map text boxes, checkboxes, tables, date pickers, and signature lines with their exact coordinates, and you can continue working in your dashboard while long documents transform in the background. Adjust the layout in the drag-and-drop builder and publish immediately.
02Can respondents fill out forms in other languages, and what language appears on the completed PDF?
Yes. Respondents can choose from 18 supported languages (active languages depend on your plan), and ToWebForm automatically matches the respondent’s browser language (including right-to-left layout for Arabic and Urdu). On every plan, including Free, open-ended answers typed in another language are translated into your PDF’s original language before stamping onto the document, and both the mapped translation and the signer’s exact original text are preserved on the addendum page.
03Can I bundle multiple PDFs into one link so clients do not re-type their name and sign repeatedly?
Yes. With Smart Packets and automatic field deduplication, you can bundle 2 to 6 forms into a single mobile wizard link (or upload a single multi-page PDF with repeated fields). Overlapping fields like Full Name, Email, Phone, Address, and Signature are automatically merged so your client answers them once and signs once at the end. ToWebForm stamps their answers onto every linked coordinate across all pages and generates both individual sealed PDFs and a combined Master Packet PDF.
04Is the web form accessible (ADA/WCAG)?
ToWebForm is built to support WCAG 2.1 AA. Generated forms include semantic labels and ARIA attributes for assistive technology, proper heading hierarchy, and a dedicated accessibility overrides panel for fine-tuning.
05How do I share a form or route a multi-signer agreement?
Share public forms via direct link, website embed, QR code, printable reception counter card, or SMS text message. For agreements that require multiple signatures, assign fields to each signer role and route private signing links sequentially by email or SMS.
06Can I embed a web form directly on my website?
Yes. Every published form includes a copy-paste website embed snippet that works with WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, and custom HTML sites. The default responsive embed automatically adjusts its height as visitors fill out fields and sign so there are no double scrollbars, and a standard script-free iframe option is also included for portals that restrict inline scripts. Website embedding is included on all plans, and the Team plan removes the Powered by ToWebForm footer for a white-label embed.
07Is my data ever used to train external models?
No. Your uploaded PDFs and encrypted form submissions are never used to train any models. All sensitive respondent data is encrypted at the application layer with AES-256-GCM before storage.
08Can respondents fill out a web form and download the official PDF without our organization storing their PII in the cloud?
Yes. On the Team plan, you can switch any form to Fill & Download Official PDF Only (Zero-PII Storage Mode). Respondents fill out the mobile-friendly web form in any enabled language, and ToWebForm translates (if enabled) and stamps their answers onto your original PDF coordinates entirely in memory, streaming the completed PDF directly to their browser without saving any respondent PII in the database.
09How do contract expiration reminders work?
Owners and admins get an email 30, 7, and 1 day before a signed contract expires. Set the expiration date when you send the contract, or edit it later on the Contracts dashboard.
10Can I upload contracts that were signed outside ToWebForm?
Yes. Upload any executed PDF contract up to 25 MB and 100 pages to track its expiration date, contract value, and key terms alongside agreements signed in ToWebForm, with reminders before it expires.
